Two different award programs competed for the same sponsorship and program dollars, and audiences.

The Solution

The Alberta Business Awards of Distinction were developed by combining the Alberta Export Acheivement Awards and the Alberta Small Business Awards, increasing the potential audience and available sponsorship dollars.

Each year the Awards attract nominations from across Alberta in a variety of categories. Over 600 people attend the gala banquet and Awards ceremony held each spring.

The Results

The Alberta Business Awards of Distinction result in an annual profit to the client and have increased the community profile of the Alberta Chambers of Commerce, the sponsors and nominees of the Awards.
