Roam I.T. (now owned by
Commerx Corporation), develops point-of-care, patient information management
systems for emergency medical service organizations.
The company was formed in 1998, and during this start-up phase
relied on making the most of limited advertising and public relations
budgets.
To capitalize on the uniqueness of the Rampart-EMS product
line, direct marketing efforts took precedence over mass marketing.
Paid advertising was used only to raise company and product brand
awareness.
